Hedy & Hopp Takes Silver as 2026 MM+M Healthcare Boutique Agency of the Year

Marissa • October 2, 2026

Some news is worth a little extra joy. Hedy & Hopp has been named the Silver winner of the 2026 MM+M Healthcare Boutique Agency of the Year award!

When we were named a finalist earlier this year, it was already an honor to be recognized alongside so many agencies we admire. To be named a winner is the perfect way to celebrate an incredible year of growth, and we couldn’t be more proud.

MM+M pointed to our 52.1% revenue growth in 2025, which brought us to $6.3 million. They also recognized something we’re especially proud of: a business model purpose-built to serve health systems, payors, and multi-location practices. They highlighted the strategic work we’ve done in Epic, including becoming the first marketing agency to have employees earn Epic marketing platform certifications. And they gave a nod to our podcast, We Are, Marketing Happy, as a growing must-listen for health system marketers.

Here’s a closer look at the work behind the award.

Leading the Way in Epic Marketing

As Epic expanded the marketing capabilities inside its platform, we saw a big opportunity. These are the tools at the center of how millions of patients experience their care. If marketers could use them well (and compliantly), they could change how patients find and access care.

So we went all in. In 2025, Hedy & Hopp was one of just four marketing agencies selected to visit the Epic campus for training on Epic’s marketing tools. We became the first agency with employees certified across Epic’s marketing platforms. Epic now supports H&H and our clients as we take on Epic marketing projects. That relationship has helped us do something that matters a lot to the clients we serve: bridge the gap between IT/IS teams and marketing teams so implementation and utilization of Epic’s marketing tools succeeds.

Closing the Attribution Gap with UTM Connect™

Early in our Epic work, we noticed a frustrating blind spot for our clients. Marketers could measure a campaign up to the moment someone converted on a website, and then the trail went cold. There was no clear way to connect that campaign to an actual patient.

So, in true H&H fashion, we built a solution. UTM Connect™ is our custom tool that compliantly carries UTM parameters from marketing campaigns into the patient record upon conversion. It works across multiple Epic setups and workflows. For the first time, it gives our clients a clear view of:

  • Marketing campaign ROI
  • Patient conversion
  • Full marketing funnel visibility
  • Where drop-off happens between marketing and patient conversion

For health system marketers who’ve spent years being asked to prove impact with incomplete data, that visibility is a game changer.

Responsible AI, Built for Healthcare: Meet Hoppywriter™

AI is moving fast, and in healthcare, how you use it matters as much as whether you use it. H&H is committed to the responsible use of AI in healthcare marketing and content creation.

In 2025, we saw that our clients needed a smarter way to identify content topics and shape content strategy. That’s why we created Hoppywriter™, our responsible AI engine for content ideation and generation. Hoppywriter™ brings multiple workstreams together and automates key steps. It also centralizes how we approach content ideation and strategy.

At our core, we’re committed to keeping healthcare marketing fundamentally human-first, while using AI to personalize content and increase efficiency for our clients.

A Culture Built on Connectedness and Joy

Behind every Epic integration is a team of Hoppians who genuinely love what they do. Across 15 states, our Pursuit of Hoppiness initiative keeps us connected through virtual escape rooms, happy hours, and trivia nights (yes, things get competitive). Eighteen Hoppians joined our podcast last year, and our new core value, Protect Room for Growth, gives everyone space for what fuels them, inside and outside of work.

This approach brings real joy to our work, and our clients can feel the difference.

A Word from Our Founder

None of this momentum happens by accident. The vision of our CEO and founder, Jenny Bristow, continues to catapult us forward by pushing the team to see the shifting world of healthcare marketing not only as a challenge, but as an endless opportunity. Or as we say, pivot with positivity.

“A ranking like this is fuel for our fire. It tells us that the way we work is exactly what this industry needs more of. And honestly, we’re just getting warmed up.”
— Jenny Bristow, CEO & Founder, Hedy & Hopp

We’re Just Getting Started

“At Hedy & Hopp, we’re 100% dedicated to healthcare and committed to growth, innovation, and joy for our team and clients. This past year, we’ve seen firsthand the power of Epic’s capabilities, and it’s been incredible to bring those opportunities to our clients and work our magic. It’s an honor that MM+M sees that in us too.” — Jenny Bristow, CEO & Founder, Hedy & Hopp

Thank you to MM+M, to our clients and partners, and to every Hoppian who made this possible. We Are, Marketing Happy!
