Epic has traditionally been owned by health systems’ IT teams, but the tides are shifting. Healthcare marketers can leverage Epic as a powerful tool to connect with patients, personalize outreach, and demonstrate measurable impact.
We can help you get there.
Epic Cheers Campaigns // Epic Workflows // Campaign Strategy & Activation // Patient Appointment Journey Audit // Measurement Plan // Compliant Analytics Implementation
Do you know which messaging and triggers are currently in place for your patient population? When Epic was implemented at your system, foundational messages were likely automatically implemented, as well as ad-hoc requests over the years. A holistic audit will identify all messaging, audiences and triggers and how well (or not) they are performing.
All of your patient data already lives in Epic—let’s use it to send patients the right message, at the right time. We’ll develop an Epic Engagement Strategy that matches your organizational priorities—driving volumes to the priority service lines, improving MyChart and digital tool utilization, and targeting non-compliant patient populations. Then, we can implement the strategy or hand off the content and implementation guidelines to your internal analysts for implementation.
Epic releases new tools and functionality frequently. Is your system leveraging tools appropriately? Are you paying for a third-party tool when a built-in Epic option may be better? We can conduct a marketing technology audit to document what tools you currently use and identify opportunities for add-ons or replacements to drive cost savings and improve the patient experience.
Epic holds the key to real marketing ROI: patient appointments and revenue. We can help ensure marketing campaign data is being captured by Epic when campaigns drive appointments and develop data visualization strategies to export data from Epic to create a comprehensive data warehouse and visualization solution. One dashboard—full patient ROI info (compliantly, of course).
We’re a full-service marketing agency, and most clients hire us to manage their performance marketing campaigns first. Then, Epic campaigns are a natural addition to improve campaign performance.
Jumping into Epic as a healthcare marketer can be overwhelming, especially if it’s historically been your IT team’s domain. We’re here to help you navigate the platform, understand which tools are available to you, and focus your efforts on driving meaningful ROI. Here are a few questions we hear a lot.
That’s OK! First, it’s important to note that members of our team have received multiple Epic Certifications and Badges, ensuring we have the appropriate level of training to gain access. Some systems provide consultant access (where we can log in without viewing any PHI or PII) in order to set up campaigns and analytics structures. Other systems prefer that we work externally, providing strategy and implementation steps for their analysts to follow. We can be flexible based on your organization’s security guidelines!
Cheers is Epic’s built-in CRM tool. We will develop a strategy to leverage the CRM to drive your organization’s goals—increased patient volumes, engagement with non-compliant patients, etc. We’ll work to understand your goals, and then develop a plan for targeting, triggers, and messaging for one-time campaigns as well as automations.
